We are partnering with an outstanding primary school in Reading, Berkshire that is looking to appoint a talented and passionate Year 5 Teacher to join their team in September 2026. Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons for Year 5 pupils
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
Build positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of pupil progress
Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and achievement
Use a range of teaching approaches and resources to support diverse learning needs
Year 5 Teacher Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching in a primary setting, ideally as a Year 5 Teacher
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
A commitment to delivering high-quality education and achieving positive outcomes for all pupils
