Split place of work between Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) and Home
Salary up to £30,000 per annum plus benefits
We are looking for an Academic Quality and Governance Officer to join our team and play a key role in shaping and maintaining the University’s academic standards and quality frameworks.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities- Administration of programme approval (validation and periodic review and re-validation), modification, monitoring and review processes
- Provide guidance to academic and professional services staff on Quality Assurance procedures
- Ensure committee documentation is accurate, timely and compliant with institutional regulations
- Support the servicing of academic committees and working groups including acting as secretary for assigned committees
- Experience in academic administration or quality assurance within higher education
- Experience of committee servicing and policy development
- Understanding of UK higher education regulatory frameworks and governance structures
