A friendly school in Reading are looking to add a Youth Mental Health Support assistant to their team starting as soon as possible.
If you are a psychology graduate, or have a background in education, sports, art or drama, then this is the kind of role that you will succeed in!
Your duties as a Youth Mental Health Support assistant:
Support the students with their needs in the classroom
Help them find healthy and positive ways to cope with their emotions
Teach them ways to regulate their emotions
Help them reach their academic and personal goals
De-escalate any behaviour and redirect their attention
Facilitate and help deliver any interventions designed to help the students flourish
Support the students during their work dayThe successful Youth Mental Health Support assistant:
Has a positive attitude
Kind and enthusiastic to make a difference
Passionate about helping
Takes initiative and is proactive
Understands the importance of safeguarding

£90 - £110 per day
Full time or part time options
Ages 11 - 18
