Lecturer in Dietetics

Overview

To support our dietetics course, the Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences are seeking to appoint a part-time Lecturer in Dietetics (teaching intensive).

This role is part time (0.6 FTE), permanent and is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. The successful candidate(s) must have the right to work in the UK or be able to secure this through another means without sponsorship of the University.

• Design, convene and deliver a ‘Inclusive Practice and Person-Centred Care’ module.
• Deliver sessions related to your clinical speciality.
• Support management and delivery of practice based learning.
• Support student recruitment, selection activities and student projects.

• Experienced HCPC registered dietitian.
• Have worked in the UK health system at a band 6 AFC level or above.
• Recent NHS professional experience in acute or community settings.
• Interest in the development and delivery of dietetics education and ambition to lead this area.
• Willingness to contribute to wider interprofessional teaching activities.
