Salary: £85 - £105 per day
A supportive and well-established school in Reading is seeking a committed Behaviour mentor to join their pastoral team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a resilient and motivated Behaviour mentor who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and improve their behaviour and engagement in school.
The successful Behaviour mentor will work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them to stay focused, regulated, and engaged throughout the school day.
Role Overview
As a Behaviour mentor, you will play a key role in supporting pupils who need guidance with behaviour management and emotional regulation. You will build strong, positive relationships and help create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment.
This role offers a rewarding opportunity for a Behaviour mentor to make a meaningful impact on pupils' lives while working within a dedicated pastoral team.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver targeted support and interventions as a Behaviour mentor for pupils with behavioural needs
Implement behaviour management strategies and individual support plans
Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to support pupil progress
Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing across the school
Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
