Pay: 90 - 105 per day
Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience working with children before pursuing a career in education, mental health, or psychology?
A supportive and inclusive school in Reading is seeking a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to develop practical experience supporting pupils with a range of learning, behavioural, and emotional needs.
The Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant will work closely with students both inside and outside the classroom, providing tailored support that promotes confidence, engagement, and wellbeing. The successful Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant will gain valuable insight into child development, behaviour, and special educational needs.
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with additional learning, behavioural, and emotional needs
Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
Help students develop confidence, resilience, and social skills
Assist teachers in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment
Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Work alongside teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
The school is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant who is eager to make a positive impact. Previous experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals would be beneficial but is not essential.
The successful Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant will benefit from ongoing training, mentoring, and support from experienced professionals.
