Learning Mentor (Teaching Assistant)
Location:
Reading
Employment: 30 hours per week (8:30am – 3:00pm), term time only plus inset days. Permanent.
Responsibilities- Support students in developing coping strategies, motivation, aspirations, and confidence as learners.
- Advocate for young people to improve outcomes and work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a sense of humour, showing students they belong and matter.
- Build positive relationships with students, working independently or as part of a team.
- No specific qualification required.
- Experience in education or other careers valued.
