Teacher Assistant; PE & Outdoor Learning

Position

24.75 hours per week – Term time only plus INSET days (flexible working pattern to be agreed).

Location:

Woodley & Farley Hill. Additional hours may be available on a supply casual basis alongside this contract.

We are looking for a Teacher Assistant to work collaboratively with the PE and class teams to support our pupils in engaging with outstanding PE and outdoor learning. The role involves supporting the delivery of PE lessons, running small group activities and lunchtime clubs, and organising and leading off‑site sporting and outdoor learning opportunities.

• Previous experience working with pupils with special needs.
• Experience of PE, Sports or Outdoor Learning.
• Qualifications in these areas are desirable.

• Support with the delivery of PE lessons.
• Run small group activities and lunchtime clubs.
• Organise and lead offsite sporting and outdoor learning opportunities.
• Assist in setting up and putting away large trampoline and other PE equipment.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a fun and active team.
• Initiative and positive approach to supporting pupils.

The job will be physically demanding, including setting up and putting away our large trampoline as well as other PE related equipment.
