Pastoral Intervention Leader – Re Focus

We are looking for a Pastoral Intervention Leader to work with individuals or small groups of students identifying underlying barriers to learning and then designing structured intervention pathways to support re‑engagement with school life. They work closely with students, families, teaching and pastoral teams to coordinate and deliver tailored programmes that promote regulation, positive behaviour and sustained participation in learning.

Responsibilities include:

leading on planning, monitoring and evaluating interventions to ensure effective outcomes; consistent communication across teams; building strong, supportive relationships; modelling the school’s values; contributing to a calm, inclusive, aspirational environment.

Hours:

37 hours per week (08:15-16:15), term‑time only, plus 5 Inset Days.

Salary: £30,518 per annum full‑time equivalent (actual pro‑rated salary £26,249). Pay progression linked to the local government SCP salary scale 16‑20. The Wren is a member of the Royal Berkshire Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), with employer contributions set at 22.6%.
