About the School
We are working with some exceptional Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools in Reading, designed specifically to meet the needs of neurodiverse children. The school provides a supportive and stimulating environment for both staff and students, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
The school caters for a range of needs, with a primary focus on:
High-functioning autism
Anxiety
Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)
The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Deliver high-quality teaching tailored to individual needs and small groups.
Identify and support students across all levels of need.
Set challenging targets and maintain high aspirations for every learner.
Create and maintain a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement care plans.
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience working within SEN settings.
Patient, calm, and empathetic approach.
Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
Ability to develop and implement personalised care plans.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
