Psychology Graduate
Role Overview
A specialist school for children with autism and complex needs is seeking a Psychology Graduate to join their team as a Learning Support Assistant, playing a key role in the social, emotional and academic development of every pupil.
ResponsibilitiesSupport students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, complex needs, speech, language and communication needs, mental health difficulties and behaviour challenges. Utilise engagement methods such as restorative practices promoted by therapists and psychologists, and weave emotional well‑being and social development into every aspect of the curriculum.
Qualifications• Psychology or Criminology graduate with a strong academic background (ideally a 2:2 degree or above).
• Passion for helping vulnerable children.
• Previous experience working with children and/or vulnerable adults is beneficial.
- Relevant safeguarding training.
- Ongoing training provided.
- Immediate start.
- Location:
Reading.
£90 - £100 per day, PAYE.
