Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Reading this September.

About the School

This welcoming and supportive SEN school caters for primary and secondary-aged pupils with a range of needs, including:

  • Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
  • Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

? The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students 1:1 and in small groups across primary and secondary settings
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored, engaging lessons
  • Help implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
  • Encourage independence, communication, and social development
  • Provide emotional and behavioural support where needed
