As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils as they continue their journey through Key Stage 1. You will plan creative lessons, establish strong classroom routines, and provide a stimulating learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to succeed.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum as a Year 1 Teacher
• Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment
• Assess pupil progress and use findings to inform effective teaching
• Adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of all learners
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support school improvement
• Encourage the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils

The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and communication skillsA passion for supporting and inspiring young learners
