Academic Operations Administrator
Full time (35 hrs/wk), permanent
Place of work: Split between Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) and home, up to three days a week at home.
Salary Range: £25,000 to £27,000 pa + benefits.
We are looking for an Academic Operations Administrator to join our Academic Operations team and help ensure the smooth delivery of our academic programmes. You will play a vital role in ensuring programmes are delivered effectively and efficiently, supporting both academic staff and students.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate lecturer resourcing for a range of programmes; prepare and issue contracts.
- Support onboarding activities and monitor compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Assign lecturers appropriately to meet operational needs and liaise with relevant teams.
- Prepare and issue contracts in liaison with the HR and Payroll team.
- Liaise with and notify the relevant teams about lecturer arrangements for each module.
Key qualifications:
- Experience with in an administrative role, ideally within an educational environment.
- Experience working across multiple teams with competing priorities.
- Ability to work under pressure, use initiative, and adapt readily to changing circumstances.
