This Maths Teacher role offers the opportunity to work full-time within a supportive secondary school setting on a permanent basis from September 2026. The Maths Teacher will deliver high-quality mathematics teaching that supports pupils’ progress, confidence, and enjoyment of the subject. This role is ideal for a committed Maths Teacher seeking long-term stability and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across the secondary age range
• Teach Maths in line with the national curriculum and examination specifications
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform teaching
• Provide clear feedback to support pupil progress and attainment
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities
• Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider staff team
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
• Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Mathematics
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to motivate and engage pupils of varying abilities
• Organised, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement
• Willingness to commit to a temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
