A high-achieving secondary academy in Reading is seeking to appoint an ambitious Science Teacher to join its dynamic STEM faculty for a September start.
Job OverviewThis well-resourced school is recognized for its academic standards and commitment to practical science education. The successful candidate will teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), with opportunities to teach A-Level Science for a suitably qualified candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Teach high-quality practical and theoretical Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE Combined & Triple Science)
- Plan safe, engaging laboratory experiments in full compliance with CLEAPSS guidelines
- Track pupil progress and deliver targeted exam preparation to secure strong GCSE outcomes
- Contribute to STEM enrichment initiatives, including science clubs and national competitions
- Serve as a Form Tutor, providing holistic pastoral support and academic tracking
- Offer:
