Job OverviewMathematics is a core pillar of this academy’s academic strategy. The successful candidate will deliver high-impact Mathematics instruction across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE Higher and Foundation), with potential opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5 A-Level Mathematics for a qualified specialist.
Working alongside experienced mathematics educators, you will focus on developing pupils' problem-solving resilience, algebraic fluency, and geometric reasoning. This is a full-time, long-term or permanent post suited to a dynamic practitioner ready to step in immediately.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeach high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE)
Plan and deliver lessons that build numerical fluency, multi-step problem solving, and analytical reasoning
Prepare Key Stage 4 students for GCSE examinations through structured assessment, feedback, and targeted revision workshops
Monitor, track, and report on pupil progress using school data systems to ensure every student reaches their potential
Serve as a Form Tutor, delivering holistic pastoral support, academic tracking, and student mentoring
Collaborate with department colleagues to continually refine schemes of work and digital learning platforms
