Physics Technician - Reading

A well-established Secondary School in Reading is seeking a knowledgeable, organised, and enthusiastic Physics Technician to join their Science Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in Physics who enjoys practical work and wants to play an important role in supporting teachers and students.

As a Physics Technician, you will:

  • Prepare and organise practical Physics experiments and demonstrations for lessons.
  • Set up, maintain, and dismantle laboratory equipment and practical resources.
  • Ensure equipment and materials are safe, functional, and ready for use
    .
  • Support teachers and students during practical lessons and experiments.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment, resources, and stock levels.
  • Order and manage scientific materials and equipment when required.
