Student Development and Mentoring Assistant
Full time (35 hrs/wk), permanent
Split place of work between Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) and Home
Salary range £25,000 to £27,000 pa plus benefits
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Careers and Employability team, playing a key role in helping students and graduates achieve positive career and study outcomes.
You will play an active role in designing, delivering and evaluating a wide range of activities that help to build students' skills, as well as their confidence. Working closely with University teams, alumni and industry partners, you will help to create meaningful opportunities for students to engage with the built environment sector, explore career pathways and develop important skills needed to support their future careers.
Your accountabilities and responsibilities include:
- Manage the mentoring programmes and activities on a day-to-day basis, supporting students and mentors with regular check ins, participant support and management of the mentoring journey
