A small, highly talented environmental and geotechnical consultancy based in Reading is looking to recruit a Graduate Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their close-knit team. This is a great opportunity for a graduate who wants to gain hands on experience in the ground investigation industry. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects across commercial and infrastructure sectors.

You’ll be supported by experienced engineers and consultants while gaining practical experience across site investigations, contaminated land assessments and reporting.

• Assisting with Phase 1 desk studies and site walkovers
• Supporting Phase 2 intrusive ground investigations
• Soil, groundwater and gas sampling
• Logging soils and assisting with factual and interpretative reports
• Working closely with senior engineers on a variety of projects
• A good balance of site and office-based work

• A degree in Geoenvironmental Science, Geology, Environmental Science or similar
• Some site investigation or consultancy experience (placement or graduate role beneficial but not essential)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Must live within a commutable distance from the Reading office
