Electrical Quality Lead

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Lead to take ownership of electrical quality assurance and quality control on a large-scale data centre project in Berkshire. This is a senior, site‑based role responsible for ensuring all electrical works are delivered in full compliance with project specifications, UK regulations, client standards, and commissioning requirements typical of mission‑critical environments.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving a “right-first-time” culture across contractors and suppliers, supporting programme certainty and flawless handover.

• Lead all electrical QA/QC activities across the project lifecycle, from installation through testing, commissioning, and handover
• Develop, implement, and manage Electrical Quality Plans
  , Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and check sheets
• Ensure compliance with:
• Project specifications and drawings
• BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
• Relevant British Standards, IEC standards, and statutory requirements
• Review and approve:
• Method statements and risk assessments (RAMS)
• Technical submittals and material approvals

• Proven experience in a senior electrical quality role on data centre or mission‑critical projects
• Strong background in:
• LV & HV systems

• Recognised Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
• ECS / CSCS (Black or Gold Card preferred)
• Relevant QA/QC or inspection certifications advantageous

• £90,000 per annum basic salary + benefits
