Principle Electronics System Design Engineer
At OQC, we aren’t just theorising about the future; we’re building it. Born from a philosophy of bold innovation, we’ve successfully transitioned quantum computing from an academic dream into a commercial reality. The most exciting thing is that we’re just getting started.
As a Principal Electronic Design Engineer, you will define the electronic architectures that power scalable quantum computing systems. You'll solve complex system-level challenges spanning high-speed electronics, synchronisation, integration, and manufacturability, helping to deliver the next generation of quantum control hardware.
The RoleAs a senior technical leader within our Control Hardware team, you'll drive the architecture, design, and delivery of highly integrated electronic systems that enable high-performance qubit control, deterministic synchronisation, and data acquisition across distributed quantum computing platforms. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, influence long-term hardware strategy, and provide technical leadership across the organisation.
What You'll Be Working On- Architecting scalable, high-performance electronic systems for quantum control platforms, balancing performance, reliability, manufacturability, and long-term scalability.
