Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for an Associate Electrical Engineer to join a well‑established MEP team delivering high‑quality design across a diverse project portfolio.

This is a senior opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead projects and teams, working across sectors including science and research, advanced manufacturing, motor sport, education, defence, commercial and residential. You will take a key role in leading MEP design delivery, managing project teams and maintaining strong client relationships, while contributing to the continued growth of the business.

• Lead MEP engineering teams delivering a range of design projects
• Act as lead engineer for electrical building services design from concept through to detailed stages
• Manage project delivery, risk and commercial performance
• Produce and oversee reports, drawings and specifications across RIBA stages
• Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers and contractors
• Attend client and technical meetings, providing clear and confident advice
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and health and safety requirements

• Strong background in electrical building services design within a consultancy or contractor environment
• Experience leading projects and managing teams
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Chartered or working towards IEng or CEng status
• Proficient in CAD and BIM tools including Revit
• Strong commercial awareness and project management capability
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
