Graduate Civil Engineer - Regulated Water

You will join Jacobs’ Graduate Development Programme (GDP) in the water sector, working on high‑profile projects across water and wastewater networks, treatment plants, and asset management.

• Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team to provide innovative and sustainable solutions in the design of water treatment plants, pumping stations, and distribution networks.
• Design wastewater treatment plants and drainage network assets to improve river quality.
• Design pressure and gravity pipelines.
• Design site layouts in markets such as water, data centres, and energy & power.
• Prepare feasibility studies for new water and wastewater assets, including regional transfer of water across the UK within the RAPID SRO programme.

• Be working towards a relevant Degree or Master’s level qualification in Civil Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Be a flexible self‑starter keen to drive your career forward.
• Be adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new things.
• Hold permanent right to work in the UK.
