Site Engineer​/Senior Engineer

Position: Site Engineer / Senior Engineer
My client is a long established, leading, regional Civil Engineering Contractor.

Due to planned growth and an influx of work in their Thames Valley Region, they are looking to appoint, on a permanent basis or a long term contract basis (12 months+) a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer to work on projects in the region which includes locations such as Basingstoke, Reading, Slough and Oxford

Although their preference would be a permanently employed individual, they would also consider someone that would prefer a long-term contract position.

Initially, you will be managing civil engineering projects predominantly in the water and wastewater sectors.

* Setting out roads, structures and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)

* Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications

* Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)

* Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client’s and business’s requirement

* Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification

* Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations

* Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
