Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a highly regarded engineering team delivering diverse and technically challenging building services projects.

• Deliver mechanical design as part of a project team from concept through to completion
• Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors and contractors across project teams
• Attend project and technical meetings
• Ensure designs meet current legislation and health and safety standards
• Advise clients on energy use, sustainability and carbon reduction
• Design building services systems using CAD and BIM tools including Revit
• Carry out condition surveys and produce technical reports
• Support installation, commissioning and maintenance strategy development

• Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
• Experience in mechanical design within consultancy or contractor environment
• Working towards chartered status or keen to progress
• Proficient in industry software such as IES, Hevacomp, AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Organised, proactive and keen to develop
