Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Civil Engineer in our Reading office, where you will be involved in significant projects across our water division from day one, supporting both local and national work.
AboutThe Role
As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will join a Civils team in our Reading office, supporting local water projects and working closely with colleagues across our wider regional and national teams.
The team supports civil design and project delivery across a range of water and infrastructure projects, from early-stage planning and concept design through to tender, construction and operation. You will gain experience on local projects connected to the Derby office while also contributing to wider water sector schemes delivered across Stantec’s UK teams.
Responsibilities- Supporting the civil engineering team across a wide range of project stages and sectors.
- Producing engineering calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
- Contributing to civil design work from concept and planning through to tender, construction and early operation.
- Attending project and design meetings, contributing ideas and learning from experienced colleagues.
- Taking opportunities to visit construction sites and build practical understanding of design delivery.
- Developing your technical capability by learning a variety of civil engineering software and design approaches
