National Grid is seeking a Primary / HV Plant Design Engineer to lead the design, engineering, and technical delivery of high-voltage substation plant systems for transmission projects up to 400 kV. The role focuses on compliant designs per SR188, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective outcomes.
You will steer FEED through detailed design, coordinate with civil, protection & control, mechanical and primary design teams, and drive design reviews, hazard studies, and vendor data assessments
