Enviromena is a UK-based independent power producer (IPP) focused on the development, construction, ownership and operation of large-scale solar and battery storage projects across the UK and Europe. As an IPP, Enviromena retains ownership of its assets throughout their full lifecycle, delivering clean, reliable power to communities and businesses.
The Project Development Co-ordinator will be responsible for supporting the development team in progressing renewable projects from initial opportunity stage through to pre-construction.
The position will be based in our UK office, located in Reading, England. The role may require travel to operational locations situated across the UK.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES- Assist the Development team in managing and overseeing specific projects over the entire project development process.
- Provide support in reviewing planning, land and grid documentation.
- Liaise with external planning providers, surveyors, grid operators, technical advisors and other stakeholders.
- Assist with purchase orders, invoices and consultant documentation.
- Updating project records with status updates throughout the development process.
- Undertake the regular update of project pipeline reports and issue to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Support handover of projects to Technical Services and Operations teams when required to ensure smooth transition of projects between internal departments.
- Additional ad-hoc duties may be required in the execution of the role.
- A self-starter, proactive team player, capable of leading by doing, able to work under pressure.
- Experience working in the renewable energy industry preferred but not essential.
- High attention to detail.
- Motivated and able to work on own initiative, as well as under supervisory guidance.
- Sound working knowledge of common MS Office packages.
- Organisational skills and time management.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Any previous qualifications or training related to renewable energy will be a bonus.
