Working patternAWE operates a 9-day working fortnight, with every other Friday as a non-working day. For this role, employees are required to work fully onsite. Let us introduce the roleAWE is currently recruiting for a Utilities Engineer
- Electrical to support a variety of projects, upgrades and support tasks across the AWE estate.
This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong understanding of Electrical distribution systems. As a Utilities Engineer, you will deliver professional engineering services to AWE projects.
Who are we looking for?We do need you to demonstrate experience in the following:
- Technical Apprenticeship or HNC/HND with suitable additional experience
- Leading delivery of Utilities projects/works
- Effective Stakeholder Management
- Construction / CDM experience
- Finance management understanding
- Identifying and delivering to technical and regulatory requirements
- Primary Electrical Bias with experience across multiple disciplines.
- Experience in Utility / building service delivery over a large portfolio.
- Project Management qualification i.e. APMF/Q / Prince 2
- An understanding of Formal Risk Management process
You will need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
