Negotiable Berkshire, England Permanent Senior PCB Designerð Berkshire, Full time onsite. The Opportunity Our client is at the forefront of delivering advanced cryptographic and key management solutions that enable the secure exchange of mission‑critical information. Our technology supports customers operating at both tactical and strategic levels across security, aerospace and space domains.

We are now seeking a Senior PCB Designer to play a key role in multiple concurrent research, development and production programmes, ranging from tens of thousands to several million pounds in value.

Key Responsibilities Design and layout complex multi‑layer (4-20 layer) PCBs, including rigid, semi‑rigid and flex‑rigid designs

Produce PCB layouts for analogue, RF, digital, power, high‑speed and high‑reliability circuits (DO‑254 where required)
Apply security, EMC and TEMPEST design rules

Incorporate DFT features and test points in collaboration with Production Test Work closely with electronic, mechanical, procurement and supply chain teams

Liaise with PCB fabricators and assembly houses to meet DRC, DFM and DFT requirements

Maintain and administer CAD libraries (symbols, footprints, databases)
Participate in design reviews and contribute to bids, proposals and technical estimates

Continuously improve tools, processes and PCB design best practices

Required Skills & Experience Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience

Proven experience designing complex, high‑density PCBsStrong knowledge of IPC standards, routing guidelines and modern PCB design tools

Experience with DFM/DFT implementation and supplier reviews

Track record delivering multi‑layer, high‑speed, RF, analogue and power designs

Desirable

Signal integrity analysis experience

Knowledge of power distribution and thermal design

Gerber and ODB++ manipulation

Altium or PADs layout and schematic capture

Windchill or similar version control tools
