About Client:Our client is a growing engineering and technology organisation developing something that currently does not function in the satellite world! They offer a collaborative environment focused on innovation, quality, and technical excellence with engineers from across the globe.
About Role:We are seeking an AIT & Electronics Technician to support the assembly, integration, and testing of flight-quality electronics, harnesses, and propulsion hardware within a fast-paced, safety-critical engineering environment.
What You’ll Do:- Assemble, rework and inspect electronic boards to IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards
- Build and terminate wiring harnesses and cable assemblies to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards
- Crimp, solder and install connectors, backshells and protective measures
- Build and maintain electrical and mechanical test setups
- Support AIT and environmental testing, including thermal vacuum and vibration
- Hands-on experience assembling and reworking electronic boards and harnesses
- IPC-A-610 Class 3 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting AIT, integration and test activities
- Experience working in ESD-controlled environments
- J-STD-001 certification
- Space, aerospace, defence, automotive or other high-reliability industry experience
- Cleanroom or ISO-classified environment experience
- Knowledge of ECSS standards
- High-voltage or power electronics experience
- Basic CAD literacy and propulsion systems experience
- Work on groundbreaking satellite and propulsion technology
- High ownership and direct impact on flight hardware
