Currently recruiting for an exciting Senior Electronics Design Engineer opportunity based in Reading
, offering a salary of £60,000-£65,000 per annum
, plus an excellent benefits package.
My client is a leading supplier of anti-vibration mounts, avionics racking, and illuminated control and display systems, supporting the aerospace, defence, and industrial sectors in the UK and internationally.
Key details of the role:
- Location: Reading
- Salary: £60,000-£65,000 per annum
- Experience: Minimum 10 years within a manufacturing environment, ideally in aerospace or defence
- Technical skills: Altium, electronic circuit and system design, technical drawings, and engineering verification and validation
- Additional experience: Knowledge of aerospace/defence standards, reliability prediction (MTBF), and component obsolescence would be beneficial.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the design of electronic circuits and systems.
- Reviewing customer requirements and preparing bills of materials and project cost estimates.
- Managing project risks and leading verification and validation activities.
- Designing and reviewing test equipment and procedures.
- Supporting project teams and mentoring engineers where required.
