South Central England - Ideally based around Basingstoke, Reading or Oxford
£35,000 - £45,000 + Profit-Related Bonus + Company Vehicle + Healthcare Plan + Benefits
A specialist water treatment engineering business is looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the South Central region. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled electro-mechanical engineer looking to work on a wide range of industrial water treatment systems across sectors including manufacturing, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and aerospace.
The role offers a mixture of servicing, maintenance, commissioning and technical support, with excellent long-term career prospects within a growing organisation.
The Role
Service, maintain and repair water treatment systems including Reverse Osmosis, Deionisers, Water Softeners, Filtration and Effluent Treatment Plant
Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and technical support both on-site and remotely
Complete installation and commissioning activities where required
Build strong relationships with customers and provide a high level of technical support
Produce service reports and associated documentation
Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high safety standards
The Candidate
Multi-skilled electro-mechanical engineer with relevant engineering qualifications
Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or technical support engineer
Experience with in water treatment would be advantageous
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and customer-facing skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Package
£35,000 - £45,000 basic salary
