I am working with a specialist engineering business seeking an experienced CAD Designer to join its team in Reading. This is an opportunity to apply your design skills within a technically interesting environment, working on engineered solutions across construction, mechanical and building services projects.

Producing detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and potentially BricsCAD Supporting the design and development of engineered solutions Working with project teams to ensure drawings meet technical and project requirements Coordinating drawings and documentation with clients, contractors and other stakeholders Uploading and downloading drawings through platforms such as Procore and Asite Supporting projects through design, manufacture and installation Requirement:
At least 5 years' relevant experience within construction subcontracting, mechanical or building services engineering, or a similar environment Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD;
BricsCAD experience would be advantageous Knowledge of noise control products, sheet metal fabrication or architectural louvres would be beneficial Familiarity with Procore, Asite or similar document management platforms A practical, detail-focused approach to technical design A CSCS card, or willingness to obtain one, to support site visits The opportunity This is a primarily office-based CAD Designer position, requiring daily attendance at the company's Reading office.
