Position: FP&A Manager (Cashflow & Balance Sheet)
We are seeking an experienced  FP&A Manager who will provide financial direction and insight to enable stakeholders to make informed decisions.  You will be responsible for maintaining a short- and medium-term financial plan for the business, particularly with regards to cashflow, working capital, balance sheet and revenue, along with providing in-depth analysis and valuable financial insights.

You will provide advice and guidance on all financial reporting matters, coordinating and standardising the approach to Financial Planning and Analysis across the business and preparing monthly financial reports for Senior Leadership and Executives.

What you will be doing as FP&A Manager (Cashflow and Balance Sheet)

Responsible for supporting the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long-term strategic planning processes for the business as a whole
Directly responsible for the management and ownership of the new short-term (13-week) cashflow process, which will be used to forecast and manage liquidity and therefore inform external funding requirements. This will require liaison and partnering with various departments across Finance and the business to deliver an accurate forecast
Work closely with the Head of FP&A as part of their leadership team, leading the delivery of significant improvements in efficiency and quality of financial planning and reporting processes
Drive significant productivity improvements in reporting by reducing non-essential reports and processes, and aim to automate outputs to increase the time spent on value-add analysis
Manage a small team of analysts that offer dedicated support to different areas of the business.

What should you bring to the role?
Essential

A Qualified Accountant with experience in the FP&A function with a proven track record in 'adding value'.
Experience in cashflow preparation and analysis, including working capital management.
Strong modelling and solid database skills required.

Experience with planning systems and reporting technology

Experience with business intelligence tools and developing data visualisations.
High level of commercial acumen
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills Desirable

Systems experience with HFM, SAP, SAC

Experience with in the utilities, infrastructure, or construction industries
Track record of successfully embedding new financial processes, systems, or tools into the finance function.
