Duration: Initial 3 Months with view to extend
Contract Type: Day Rate (Inside IR35)
Primark is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to support the implementation and evolution of our global Treasury ecosystem
, centred on a new Treasury Management System (TMS) and its surrounding integrations. This role is critical in ensuring Treasury, Finance, Tax, and Technology are aligned across a highly regulated, multi‑system environment.
You’ll work across Primark and our parent company, carrying out significant requirement gathering
, validating existing BA documentation, and challenging assumptions with confidence. A strong financial background is essential.
- Lead end‑to‑end requirement gathering across Treasury, Finance, Tax, AP and external partners
- Validate and refine existing BA documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Analyse Treasury processes (payments, cash visibility, FX, confirmations, accounting, reporting)
- Define system interactions, data flows, and integration requirements across the TMS landscape
- Identify dependencies, risks, and control gaps, ensuring visibility for delivery teams
- Support testing and validate outputs against Treasury and Finance expectations
- Act as the functional expert for Treasury components during delivery and early life support
- Produce high‑quality artefacts: BRDs, functional specs, process flows, impact assessments
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, SIs, and vendors to resolve requirement gaps
- Proven experience as a Lead Business Analyst in Treasury, Finance Systems, or Banking
- Strong understanding of Treasury processes: cash management, payments, FX, confirmations, bank statements, accounting flows
- Experience working in integration‑heavy, multi‑system environments
- Ability to challenge stakeholders confidently, backed by strong financial knowledge
- Excellent communication skills — able to simplify complex issues without losing accuracy
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and progressively shaping scope
- Strong stakeholder engagement across Finance, Treasury, Technology, and external partners
- Treasury Management Systems (e.g., FIS Integrity)
- Banking connectivity & payment platforms
- Confirmation/matching tools (e.g., Finastra)
- Regulatory reporting (e.g., Regis TR)
- API & file‑based integrations
You’ll be shaping and stabilising a full Treasury ecosystem
, not just a standalone TMS. Success depends on ensuring upstream/downstream integrations, controls, and visibility requirements are fully understood and correctly implemented.
