Senior Accountant Financial Reporting
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 plus car allowance and bonus

- Lead and support a direct report, ensuring workloads are managed effectively and development is encouraged.
- Promote high standards of accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
- Support corporate intercompany matters including transfer pricing and franchise fees
. - Identify opportunities to streamline and improve intercompany processes
.
- Prepare and post month-end journals
, including accruals, prepayments and adjustments. - Review financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with internal controls
. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and strengthen reporting processes.
- Lead preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation
. - Liaise with external auditors to ensure efficient and timely statutory audits
. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
.
- Perform and review detailed balance sheet reconciliations
. - Investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly.
- Maintain clear documentation supporting audit and internal control requirements
.
- Monitor developments in financial regulations and accounting standards
. - Support improvements to financial controls, processes and reporting frameworks
. - Assist with the transition to enhanced compliance and reporting standards
.
- Ensure all ONS submissions are completed accurately and on time.
- Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc analysis and projects
.
- ACA Qualified 1-3 years PQE - ideally with some industry experience
- Experience in a senior accounting role within a corporate or audit environment
. - Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
. - Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
. - A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge processes and drive improvements.
