Your New Role

Our client are a rapidly growing manufacturing group who due to their continued group are looking for an ambitious Finance Manager to join their team. You will own the day-to-day finance operations across the group, taking a lead on month-end controls, working capital, commercial finance and tax. The role itself is a hands on, delivery focused role. You will also lead and develop the Finance team, drive process improvements across the function, support systems and reporting enhancements, and act as a key business partner to senior leadership, including deputising for the CFO and supporting M&A activity where required.

Ensuring Your Success

To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant with significant post-qualification experience gained within ideally the manufacturing industry. You will have a strong understanding of management reporting, group consolidations, budgeting and forecasting, alongside expertise in standard costing, job costing, operational variance analysis, and working capital management. Experience operating within a group structure and managing UK corporation tax and financial compliance activities is essential, as is the ability to work closely with senior leadership in a number-two finance position supporting a CFO.

Personally, you will demonstrate high standards, accountability, and integrity, bringing a positive and solutions-focused approach while leading by example and building strong relationships across the business.
