Interim Tax Manager; In-House, FTC

A well-established multinational group headquartered in the Thames Valley is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead its group tax compliance function on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a high-visibility role sitting within a collaborative in-house tax team, offering genuine ownership of the compliance cycle across multiple jurisdictions.

• Managing the end-to-end UK and international tax compliance process for the group, including corporation tax returns, provisions, and computations
• Coordinating with in-country advisers and finance teams across multiple territories to ensure timely and accurate group reporting
• Overseeing group tax provisioning and supporting the year-end and interim reporting process under IFRS
• Acting as the primary point of contact for HMRC enquiries and managing the group’s relationship with external advisers
• Identifying process improvements and driving efficiencies within the compliance function
• Supporting the Head of Tax on ad hoc projects, including transfer pricing documentation and SAO requirements

• CTA and/or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a tax compliance role, either in a Big 4 / top-tier advisory environment or an in-house function within a multinational
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax and indirect taxes
• Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously
• A self-starter who can hit the ground running in a contract capacity
