Protection Advisor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Protection Adviser to join one of London's fastest-growing financial services businesses as it continues to invest heavily in the expansion of its Protection division. This is far more than a traditional Protection Adviser role. You'll be joining an ambitious, entrepreneurial organisation with an established client base and the opportunity to play a significant role in growing a market-leading Protection proposition.

The business provides a broad range of financial services to SMEs, business owners, professionals and high-net-worth individuals, including Wealth Management, Employee Benefits, Workplace Pensions, Commercial Insurance and Private Medical Insurance. Protection is a key strategic area of growth, offering the successful candidate genuine long-term career progression. With around 750 London-based corporate clients already established, you'll have access to a substantial pipeline of existing opportunities and referrals from across the wider business.

This isn't a cold-calling role – you'll focus on delivering expert advice and developing long-term relationships with high-quality clients.

The Role Working closely with senior leadership, you'll advise on both Personal and Business Protection solutions, helping clients protect their families, businesses and wealth while identifying opportunities across an extensive existing client portfolio. You'll manage a broad range of straightforward and complex protection cases while contributing to the continued growth of the Protection division. As the business expands, there will also be opportunities to mentor colleagues and play an important part in developing the wider team.

Key Person Protection Shareholder Protection Relevant Life Policies Executive Income Protection Business Loan Protection Family Protection High Sum Assured Life Cover Trust Planning Inheritance Tax Planning Develop opportunities across an existing portfolio of approximately 750 corporate clients. Build relationships with professional introducers including accountants, solicitors and wealth advisers. Maintain excellent relationships with leading insurers to deliver the best outcomes for clients.

Ensure all advice meets FCA regulatory requirements and the highest quality standards. About You We're keen to hear from experienced Protection Advisers who are passionate about delivering outstanding client outcomes and enjoy working with both private and corporate clients. You'll ideally possess:
Proven experience advising on both Business Protection and Personal Protection. Experience working with business owners, directors and high-net-worth individuals. Strong knowledge of trusts, underwriting and complex protection planning. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills. Commercial awareness with a consultative, client-first approach. Relevant industry qualifications such as CeMAP, DipFA or equivalent. Previous experience building introducer relationships would be advantageous. What's on Offer?

Basic salary up to £60,000. Realistic On Target Earnings of around £100,000. Hybrid working with two days per week in the Canary Wharf office (with flexibility available).
