The OpportunityA leading national law firm is seeking a Banking & Finance Solicitor with 3–8 years’ post-qualification experience to join its established and growing team in Reading.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of banking and finance matters, including:

General corporate banking transactions

Acquisition and leveraged finance

Real estate finance

Project finance

Asset-based lending

The successful candidate will be qualified to practise in England & Wales (or an equivalent jurisdiction) and will be looking to further develop their expertise within a collaborative and commercially focused team environment.

The firm operates a hybrid working model, offering flexibility between home and office working.

The Team The Banking & Finance team is recognised for its commercial approach and technical strength across a full spectrum of financing transactions. The practice advises a wide range of UK-based financial institutions, including major clearing banks, challenger banks and specialist  addition to lender-side work, the team regularly advises corporate borrowers both domestically and internationally, including across Europe and the US.The

Candidate This opportunity would suit a Solicitor, Associate or Senior Associate currently working within a banking or finance team who is keen to contribute to a growing practice.

Applicants should demonstrate:

Strong technical knowledge of banking and finance law Experience drafting and negotiating facility agreements, LMA documentation and related finance documents

Sound commercial awareness and negotiation skills

Confidence when dealing with clients and colleagues at all levels
