English Martyrs Parish, Reading are seeking a skilled and motivated Parish Finance Administrator to join English Martyrs Parish and support the Parish Priest in ensuring the effective financial management of the parish. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial administration experience who is looking for a part-time position within a welcoming and values-driven community.
About the RoleThe Parish Finance Administrator will provide financial oversight for the parish, ensuring good stewardship of resources and smooth administrative operations. Key responsibilities include preparing budgets, managing accounts, producing financial reports, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting parish volunteers involved in finance-related tasks.
You will also assist with governance, compliance, Gift Aid, fundraising processes, and coordination with the Diocese of Portsmouth’s Finance and other Curia departments.
