I’m working with a fast-paced, PE-backed consumer e-commerce business looking for an experienced Interim Head of Financial Accounting to join them for an initial 6-month contract. This is a hands-on role, taking ownership of the core finance function while managing and supporting an established team.
Responsibilities:- Leading and managing the finance team
- Ownership of the month-end close and reporting process
- Leading the year-end audit and managing external auditors
- Ensuring strong financial controls and robust finance processes
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven experience managing finance teams
- Experience owning year-end audit from start to finish
- Available at short-notice (2 week notice period max)
The role will require weekly travel to the South West initially, so candidates will need to be comfortable with this.
