Tax Director

2-3 days a week in the office in either Reading or London

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing all the tax planning activities, restructuring and tax projects in countries such as UK, Ireland, Australia, Netherlands, Singapore and Germany.
• Advising on all the merger and acquisition activities
• Managing, progressing and resolving all the tax audits and litigations in countries
• Managing and overseeing the entire compliance program lifecycle, corporate tax return, meeting with the relevant Tax Authorities, performing various tax reviews and relationship management;
• Coordinating with other Associate Tax Directors and Senior Directors as necessary to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all international tax processes.
• Streamlining and optimizing tax processes through the use of various digital finance tools, including AI, Alteryx, Qlik and other technologies.
• Lead a team of tax professionals (around 2 people)

You'll need to have:

• 10+ years of Tax experience - ideally in the UK but other countries is a bonus
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in the income taxes field.
• Strong working knowledge of corporate income taxes.
• Experience leading a team would be a bonus

Even better if you have:

• A CPA, CTA, Masters of Tax or Masters of Accounting.
• Experience with One Source Tax Provision and SAP.
• Solid data management and automation skills required; experience with Alteryx is a plus.
