We have an exciting opportunity for a Neurodiversity Lead to join our Regional team in West Yorkshire covering HMP Wealstun, HMP Leeds and HMP Wakefield.
HoursFull time, core business hours, 37.5 hours per week.
SalaryThis position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary of £51,643 to £58,012 depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
Main duties of the job- Provide direct and/or indirect support for those presenting with neurodiversity/learning difficulties
- Provide support for those with long-term neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s and/or Dementia and will support the IMHT with training in relevant areas.
- Provide guidance to prison colleagues to inform prison plans and improve prisoner management and safety.
- Help shape and inform the neurodiversity and Learning disability pathways within Practice Plus Group and liaise with NHSE colleagues to ensure robust clinical practice.

Qualifications required- Qualified RMN / RNLD/ Allied Health Professional / Psychologist and hold appropriate professional registration
- Evidence of 3 years post registration study / continuing professional development e.g. Mentorship in Practice
- Evidence of experience of managing cases & caseloads
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
