A specialist SEN school in Reading is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a full-time opportunity to work with children and young people aged 4-18 with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD), Autism, and associated medical or physical needs.

This Complex Needs Assistant role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands‑on experience in a highly rewarding specialist setting.

• Role: Complex Needs Assistant
• Location: Reading
• Salary: 89- 100 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Start Date: ASAP
• Ideal for: Psychology, Education, Health & Social Care graduates or those passionate about SEN
• Experience: Preferred but not essential

As a Complex Needs Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual EHCP targets
• Assist with personal care and mobility where required
• Support communication using visual aids and alternative communication methods
• Help implement sensory and therapeutic interventions
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and healthcare professionals

This role offers invaluable experience for aspiring Educational Psychologists, SEN Teachers, Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, or Social Workers.
