Salary: £50,000 per annum (Pro Rata)
Working Pattern: 1–2 days per week (one of which must be a Friday)

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a reputable private medical clinic based in Reading for an experienced and professional Microsuction Nurse to join their team on a part-time basis.

The Role

As a Microsuction Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering ear wax removal procedures using microsuction techniques, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction at all times. You will work independently while contributing positively to a supportive clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform ear wax removal procedures using microsuction safely and effectively

* Conduct patient assessments and obtain relevant medical history prior to treatment

* Provide clear aftercare advice and patient education

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records

* Ensure full compliance with clinical governance, infection control, and best practice standards

* Maintain clinical equipment and ensure treatment rooms are prepared to a high standard

* Deliver exceptional patient care and service at all times

* Escalate or refer patients appropriately where required

Candidate Requirements

* Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active and valid NMC registration (essential)

* Proven experience in microsuction ear wax removal

* Experience with in private healthcare or community-based services is desirable

* Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail

* Professional, confident, and reassuring manner

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently with strong organisational skills

* A genuine commitment to delivering safe and high-quality patient care
