Grove lands Medical Centre is looking for an experienced Medical Records Summariser (MRS) &Coder to join their friendly team.
The MRS/Coder is responsible for summarising all records received at the surgery whether onpaper or electronically via GP2GP transfer, according to the practice protocol.
Additionally, the Medical Summariser may assist the tidying up of computer-held records in preparation for patients open access to records or provision of data to other healthcare providers.
Main duties of the jobThe role will also include checking coding on patient medical records fulfils contractual obligations. For example, Primary Care Network and Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) and other summarising tasks as required.
Experience in medical terminology, clinical coding and summarising is essential.
All work must be carried out with strict adherence to patient confidentiality protocols.

Our high-performing team includes Nursing staff, Paramedics, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technician,Social Prescriber, Care Coordinator and First Contact Physiotherapist, as wellas a dedicated reception and admin team.
Part time position,22.5 hours a week (flexible for working pattern)

Person Specification Qualifications- GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
