We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to oversee a portfolio of supported living services across Oxford and Reading, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs.
Responsibilities- Operational responsibility for one supported living service in Oxford, supporting a diverse group of clients. Two individuals within this service are currently regulated.
- Operational responsibility for four small supported living services in Reading, none of which are currently regulated.
- Lead mobilisation of a new service in Reading, due to be commissioned in June/July 2026, including shaping the service from the ground up and overseeing its launch and ongoing operation.
- Share time across locations with an expected presence in Oxford three days per week and oversight of Reading services.
- Collaborate with staff teams to ensure service delivery meets regulatory and quality standards.
- All five Reading services are located in close proximity, with three situated next door to one another.
- The portfolio currently delivers approximately 800 commissioned hours per week.
- Confident leader who can provide strong operational oversight across multiple services.
- Ability to support and develop staff teams.
- Experience maintaining compliance and quality standards.
- Experience mobilising and commissioning new services.
- Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders, families, and commissioners.
